Mission & vision

Safer seas, evidenced on paper — not asserted in a brochure.

Our mission

To put certified safety equipment on board without the paperwork becoming the buyer’s problem. A pilot ladder is only as good as the approval behind it, and an approval is only useful if the certificate can be produced when a port state inspector asks. So we manufacture under our own MED Module B and D approval, and we publish the certificate numbers rather than emailing them on request.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Approval in our own name. Where we can hold the certificate, we hold it — ladders, immersion suits, Seabee lighting and outfits — instead of relabelling someone else’s.
  • Documentation is part of the delivery. Every approval we publish is checked against the physical certificate before it appears on this site. Anything unconfirmed is held back rather than guessed at.
  • Requisitions read as sent. Your PO is quoted line by line, in your format, not retyped into ours.
  • Delivered to the berth. Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Antwerp, to the vessel rather than to a depot.

Where we are going

Two directions, both already under way. The first is depth in what we make: more of the equipment on this site built under our own approval rather than sourced. The second is breadth in what we can answer from one quotation, so that a purchasing officer has no reason to split a requisition between suppliers.

The approvals behind all of this are listed, with numbers and validity dates, on the certificates page. Who we are is on about us.
