Constructed from laminated hardwood (ash/beech) with UV-resistant marine varnish for enhanced durability and water resistance.
Optimized wide blade profile for efficient thrust; oval shaft for a secure, low-fatigue grip.
Fitted with wear collars and stainless-steel oarlock sleeve; rubber end-cap and lanyard hole for safe stowage.
Available lengths 2.4–3.6 m (8–12 ft); blade width approx. 180–220 mm; shaft diameter approx. 45–55 mm.
Typical weight 3.5–5.5 kg per oar (length-dependent); naturally buoyant to prevent loss overboard.
Supplied as single or matched pair; compatible with standard lifeboat thole pins and oarlocks.
